Mr. Alvin Seville is an accomplished band conductor. Under the guidance of Mr. Alvin and his team of tutors, junior colleges such as Catholic Junior College and Anderson Junior College had attained Gold with Honours. He also conducts Clementi Town Secondary School and Anglo-Chinese Junior College.

Hello members!

ALL band members are to wear either Band Tee or a Black Polo Tee for Saturday practices as of this Saturday (29/08).

Also, please remember to bring $5.00 for Band Fund. Band fund will be collected periodically, or when we see an upcoming need for it.

So do be punctual on Saturday as we will be informing the band regarding upcoming events, rules and regulations, etc.

Hey guys,

Band resumes THIS SATURDAY if you didn't know. Yep that's tomorrow's tomorrow's tomorrow. Remember to bring back your instrument and scores. See you there!

Anyway, to the Secondary Ones : Whenever you borrow an instrument, remember to sign out in the logbook (ask Quartermasters/or Ex-Co) and sign in in the logbook when you are returning the instrument. This is important as we need to account for every instrument.

Hi guys,

As you guys might have heard, band is suspended on the following dates due to Common Tests;

Wednesday (12/08)
Saturday (15/08)
Wednesday (19/08)

Band will resume its practice on Saturday (22/08).

Meanwhile, do keep in touch with your instrument and not lose your embrochure or forget your fingerings. There are some recommended websites that has been placed under the link session.

So do check it out and devote a small portion (like 1 hr or half an hour per day) to music learning. There's alot of good website on the web to self learn.

For those who has brought home their instruments and scores, remember to bring it back when band resumes and report to the Quartermasters (XingZhi and TanWhenn) when you returned it.

Oh and for those who have not inform the Librarians (Melissa and Firdaus) about I Recommend and Japanese Book, do so as soon as possible as we need some time to send them for photocopy.

Also, do keep in contact with other sectionmates or the leaders so that information will be passed down easily. Always check the band notice board. (if you don't know where it is, its the second board after the Poly/JC boards beside Popular.)

Okay so work hard for your common test but do not forget about music. (:
